We are a small independent greyhound rescue that receives no funding from the racing industry.
A lot of our dogs come into to us as a result of emergency appeals where the dogs face a very bleak future unless they can find rescues spaces. The majority of our dogs come to us in need of expensive medical care and tlc until they are well enough to be rehomed.
We also rehome lurchers, whippets and other sighthounds and sighthound crosses.
Lots of our dogs are placed into foster homes, which enables us to gain a full assessment of the dog prior to rehoming. Some live with young children and small dogs.
We have a friendly community chat room attached to our website where you can find out lots more about greyhounds and lurchers, if you are considering the breed for the first time or you want to tell us about your own hound.. You can also ask any question you may have and chat to other owners.
All of our dogs are neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and deflead prior to rehoming. A homecheck is carried out before you adopt the dog and a follow up check will be made once the dog is settled into it's new home. A set donation fee is payable.
We do regular greyhound and lurcher walks around Kent - please check our website for details.
