Luther

Luther is a wonderful staffx, male around 4 years old, black and brindle.

Luther is such a lovely boy, he is very affectionate with people and loves to play all day if he could, especially with his toys, he is happy to entertain himself with them, love him.  He is a lively happy boy and adores his walks.  Due to Luther being with us for some time, why I don’t know, because I think he is adorable, well I think all staffs are to be honest, anyway going off the point, Luther would need help in being house trained, so ideally he is looking for a home where someone can show him the ropes and has the time to give this little dear soul.

Unfortunately, Luther is another dog that was never socialised at that important time in his life, for this reason Luther cannot be rehomed with any other animals, or homed where neighbours have dogs or cats, as he really doesn’t get on with them at all, so Luther will need to be the only special pet for you.  Luther would also not be allowed of the lead in public due to not liking other animals.  I know what you are thinking, not the one for you, but he has so much more to offer, this can be worked with and can be controlled, he just needs that one little chance to prove it to you, please give him that chance, a young dog that can be turned around with the right help.

Luther is up to date with his vaccinations, flea and worm treated, neutered, micro chipped and will have six weeks free insurance with Pet Plan.

Charlie, our funny bonie boy | Terrier Cross

Charlie used to live with an older couple who never walked him, and unfortunately never socialised him.  He is a happy little soul, very lively, but can be destructive when left alone.  Charlie needs an experienced owner who has plenty of time to spend doing training and socialising this little darling, and who has not other animals or children around.

Charlie doesn’t like strangers and will nip them if they try to stroke him, unfortunately he is not as sweet as he looks!  When he gets to know you his is much better and likes affection, he is full of fun and has loads of character, a real star around here.

I am hoping with the right owner, this boy will become more settled, more confident, calmer and a great companion, if you are the right person for him and interested in adopting him, we think it would be better to meet him a few times before rehoming him, this way he will know you, and trust you, helping the socialising before the big day.  For more information on this little chap, please call us at the centre where we can answer all those important little questions.
