Lincoln Cat Care

Why are we different? We are entirely local people running a non profit making group to help needy cats in our local area. Everyone lives locally, knows the local problems and is available to offer any help that we can
Our only concern is to give the best quality of life to every cat that we can. There are many cases every week of cats not having the treatment they need because they have no owner, the owners are not insured, insurance or PDSA does not cover the treatment needed or other reasons.
What percentage of our funds goes to cats?
In short, all of it! In reality there are a few overheads that we cannot bear out of our own pockets—phone line, postage, traps etc but none of the precious funds goes to salaries or transport.
Why should you give us your money?
If you are a cat lover then you should support us as we really care and it is the local cats that your money will be spent on. If you are not a cat lover you should support us as without ensuring that the strays and unwanted cats are neutered and treated their numbers will only grow. Your money will help cats in your area and you will have the knowledge that you helped make a difference to your environment.
Gift Aid
Being a registered charity we are entitled to claim Gift Aid. This means if you pay income or capital gains tax we can claim 28p back from the treasury for every £1 you donate
How can you help?
We are always glad of any offers of help, be they financial, physical or the donation of articles to sell.
You can become a friend of Lincoln Cat Care for a small annual fee or a foster care supporter for a small monthly donation. The friends will, hopefully cover a lot of our day to day running costs and the foster care supporters will cover the cost of food, litter and a part of the vet bills of cats in care. Fees:-
FRIENDS (annually)
Under 16’s and over 60’s £5
Adults ( singly) £8
Families £15
FOSTER CARE SUPPORTER (monthly)
Help with food and litter £3
Help with above PLUS vet bills £5
Help toward vet bills for poorly cats £10
We also need people to give physical help of all sorts, you can speak to us about your particular interests.
Funds are crucial and we always need anything that we can sell or use as prizes. We also are extremely grateful for people raising funds for us by holding an event of their own ( eg sponsored swims, litter picks in their area etc).

Thank you for taking the time to read this introduction to our group. We will always be pleased to give figures for our work or details of expenditure, just ask.
Our board of Trustees were carefully nominated for their humane attitude towards the needy cats and their support of our work in the past. The daily running of the group is carried out totally by volunteers and the policies are decided by the Committee, overseen by the trustees. Charity no:1114359 |
