Puck | Jack Russell Terrier
Puck is a 9 year old Parson Jack Russell. He is house trained, is fine to be left on his own for 2-3 hours in the day or 4 hours in the evening. He goes to bed or plays with his teddy. He has never chewed, scratched or destroyed anything even when left on his own. He doesn’t bark when his owner goes out. He walks well on the lead unless he knows he’s going to the park and then he’s unstoppable. He’s energetic but knows when to chill in the house, outside he wants to play. He gets on with children over 10years old as he loves to play! Very good at sit, stay, roll over, paw and come – however the recall is more effective when there are no distractions. He does not like cats and is not keen on small dogs due to being attacked when he was a puppy.
He’s a lovely, special little dog who in general is a pretty easy going companion. He has a true terrier nature, bright, trainable but occasionally wilful - will obey in the main but at times will do want he wants unless of course there’s chicken!
Unfortunately, although he is generally a healthy little dog, he is suffering from failing eyesight. He is managing extremely well but will need to be settled in his new home before it deteriorates any further. Sadly his owner has to find him a new home due to a change of circumstances

Cleo | Domestic Shorthair
Cleo is a friendly, black and white female cat. The last month has been very stressful for her where her owners gave her to a friend and the friend couldn’t look after her so she came to us. We believe her to be approx 5 years old, during her health check at the vets it has been detected that she has a slight heart murmur but this doesn’t affect her at all and the vet says she needs no medication for it. The only other problem is she does have a flea allergy so will needed to be de-flead regularly to prevent her skin becoming itchy. She is a large friendly girl who enjoys a fuss, she is good with other cats and has a nice friendly personality.
She has had her 1st vaccination, been micro chipped, neutered, wormed and de-flead.
We ask for a donation of £65 per cat.
For more information or to arrange an appointment to view, Contact Penny at the cattery on 01634 294831

Ollie | Staffordshire Bull Terrrier
OLLIE
Hi everybody my name is Ollie. I have been spayed, I am about 2 years old and I was born deaf. I am a very happy little girl and I love to play all day long. I am very fit and healthy and need an adult only family who can spend a lot of time exercising me and playing with me with my favourite ball. I know a few hand signals and am quite obedient but I can still learn more if you have the time to do some training with me. It is important that I am an only pet because I would not be happy living with another dog or cat. Like most Terriers I must be kept busy otherwise I get bored quickly, but once I have had my exercise I am happy to sleep in my nice warm basket for a few hours. If you think you have lots of spare time and energy please consider giving me the forever home that I so desperately need. I have been in rescue kennels for months now and although the people here love me and I love them I do need a family to call my own. Lots of Love Ollie. xxxx
Ollie is currently at Boston kennels For more information please call Uncle Chris on 07971 578963 Trudie on 0208 3639634 (email: trudie.james@yahoo.co.uk)

The Doris Banham Charity saves hundreds of pound dogs from destruction every month. If a rescue place cannot be found in time to save a dog’s life, we pay for a temporary boarding place. We would be extremely grateful for a donation to help with boarding costs to continue saving the lives of forgotten pound dogs like Ollie. We are funded solely by donation and 100% of funds are spent on the dogs. All our dogs are neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped prior to re-homing. We will re-home to anywhere in the country subject to a satisfactory home check.

Nero | Moggy
Nero is a beautiful pure white longhaired male. He keeps himself immaculately clean and knot free, and is aged around 5 - 7 years old. He's a bit shy and comes across as independent however he does like to be stroked when he feels he knows you well enough. Because of his independent attitude he always seems to get over looked when it comes to homes, when all he really wants is a bit of love on his terms. He would ideally be a suited to a quiet home, with experienced owners and no or older children, as an only pet, where he can take his time settling in.
He is neutered, vaccinated and waiting for the right home.

Patch | Moggy
Patch is a Black and White longhaired male. We believe he is between 2-4years old. He has spent much of his life straying and was very matted and full of fleas when he arrived in our care. Due to this he had to have large patches of fur shaved away, which has now grown back. He has been neutered and beginning to adapted to his new surroundings well. He loves to have a fuss made of him and enjoys being groomed. Patch is looking for a quiet home with no young children or dogs. He does not seem to phased by other cats. He will need grooming daily and patient owners who will let him gain confidence in his own time as he will probably suffer from shock a bit when he first moves to his new home.
